Falun Gong is a Chinese mind/body practice that focuses truthfulness, compassion, and kindness leading to better physical and mental health. Dong led a study where 152 patients with terminal cancer did Falun Gong and saw extended survival time and better quality of life.
While modern medicine has already made the connection between mind and body, Dong wants to further explore the mechanisms of how Falun Gong works and report the successful findings to the medical community.
