This survey is open to any woman diagnosed with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, regardless of whether or not you have had genetic counseling or testing.
About 1 in 5 ovarian cancers are caused by a mutation in a gene associated with hereditary cancer.
FORCE, a national nonprofit organization, is conducting a survey to understand how women with ovarian cancer make decisions about whether or not to undergo genetic counseling and testing. We will use the results of this survey to develop new materials to help ovarian cancer patients make informed decisions about whether or not genetic testing is right for them.
