Lauren Belive of Lyft spoke at the Cancer Support Community's "Cancer Moonshot: One Year Later" about the work Lyft is doing to help patients with cancer make it to their appointments.

Lauren Belive, Senior Federal Government Relations Manager at Lyft, spoke at the Cancer Support Community's "Cancer Moonshot: One Year Later" about the work Lyft is doing to help patients with cancer make it to their appointments.

In a partnership with Boston Cancer Support, Lyft helped to provide subsidized Lyft rides to patients with cancer. If appointments for cancer treatment are missed or if the patient arrives late, there can be negative outcomes as a result. Lyft is working to reduce the number of patients, particularly in low-income communities, missing their appointments in Boston. They are working to expand the program nationally as well.
