Kristie Howlett, MS, RN, CNS, AOCNS®, from Sutter Roseville Medical Center, describes that after a baseline assessment there was only a 30% usage rate of the hand wipes among patients. In order to increase use the study focused on increasing education by creating posters, brochures, and increasing one-on-one education.
