Provider awareness of male breast cancer can be crucial in order to improve diagnosis and treatment time of these patients. Additionally, awareness of patient resources is important. As breast cancer is a highly feminized disease, it is necessary to have gender-sensitive and male-centered resources for male patients with breast cancer.
