Jennifer Wenzel, PhD, RN, CCN, FAAN, of Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, discusses the importance of including minority patients in clinical trials.

Because of that, they want their experience to be able to benefit their community at large. Nurses have an important role in extending the opportunity for clinical trial participation to underrepresented groups and to help them succeed.
