Nurses can support providers in identifying patients’ colorectal cancer risk by enabling them with the tools and information needed to assess it.

“Colorectal cancer is the most preventable solid tumor on the planet,” says Thomas Weber, MD, FACS, founder and president of the Colon Cancer Foundation.

In this video, Weber explains how nurses can focus on ascertaining patients’ family history and ensuring that patients get their colonoscopies when they are due.
