In a recent study of survivorship care plans, it was found that those patients who received a plan felt that they received better care. However, it is difficult to tell whether the plan itself led to better care, or whether it relates to the clinician who provided the plan. Moving forward, it needs to be determined whether the survivorship care plan is sufficient in terms of meeting care needs over the long term.
